Trusting In The Grand Plan & Embracing The Uncertainty
I’m trusting in the grand plan and embracing the uncertainty.
Firstly, I’m just so unbelievably grateful 1. to be alive and healthy 2. to every single human that’s supported me/my business in some way, either through scheduling a virtual yoga or mindfulness session and 3. for your KIND and thoughtful responses to rescheduling, postponing of events/retreats have been incredibly supportive. My heart has been so heavy, feeling completely overwhelmed at how this has, and will affect us all, specifically our continents most vulnerable.
As I continue to show up for myself through my own practice, I am reminded that yoga, meditation and mindfulness are medicine. It is (once again) what’s kept, and continue to keep me grounded, sane and present; when I feel like I’m completely losing it. And yes, I have allowed myself to be human, but I’m also choosing to not stay there; but rather shift, literally, through breathing, moving and going inward - doing the work.
Secondly, I'm in complete awe of our yoga community and how we are all adapting and supporting one another through this - sharing the gift of yoga and mindfulness with as many humans as possible (at a time the world needs it the most - supporting everyone’s holistic health as we practice #socialdistancing). Amazed by how many teachers are being vulnerable and so open-hearted during this time.
Lastly, now more than ever, practicing empathy and compassion towards ourselves and one another is key >> if you feel called to do so, join the 20 min Beginner Yoga session in the video below, an introduction to mindful movement for those getting on their mat first the first time. 🙏🏽🤍
